Signal Processing Applications Development Framework (SAD Framework) it is a set of our products that organizes and implements signal processing applications development process.
A common DSP application includes signal processing part and user interface, like multimedia devices, cell phones etc. The SAD Framework presents a large library of precoded solutions to common signal processing development problems, a runtime or virtual SAD Engine that manages the execution of DSP applications developed specifically for the SAD Framework, and a set of tools for configuring, designing and building of DSP applications.

The SAD Framework is supported by following products made by our company:

• SAD Studio
• SAD Runtime Engine (SAD Engine)
• Base Block Libraries
• Application-specific Block Libraries

The SAD Studio it is development environment that allows to our customers create and debug DSP applications. The SAD Studio is a complete development environment like Visual Studio 2008, intended to develop DSP applications based on SAD Framework.  The SAD Studio presents a rich and versatile integrated environment, which is used through all the stages of the DSP application development process.
The SAD Engine is a firmware/software component that must be executed on the target platform.  The SAD Engine executes projects made by SAD Studio, manages the resources of the DSP application, connects different types of embedded firmware (RTOSs, libraries, protocol stacks, etc), provides to the user application runtime edit functionality.  
Base DSP Blocks Libraries (Blocks Libraries) are collections of precompiled firmware/software components, which could be connected to the DSP Engine. 
Application Specific Blocks Libraries contain implementations of standard DSP algorithms, like MP3 Audio encoder/decoder, MPEG2/4 video encoder/decoder, etc.
