The DK-SL6087-XM0110 is a development board based on the Sl6087 GSM modem, Xm0110 GPS receiver by Sierra Wireless and PIC24FJ60 microcontroller by Microchip.
The DK-SL6087-XM0110 module is complete Telematics (navigation & communication)ยท system development environment that contains SL6087 and Xm0110 devices and will give possibility to developer build own system with these devices.
The DK-SL6087-XM0110 contains interfaces:- UART1 and UART2
- I2C
- SPI
- USB
- PCM
- Analog Audio
- GSM Quad-Band antenna
- GPS active antenna
The DK-SL6087-XM0110 could be used to familiarize the developer with GSM/ GPRS /EDGE/ GPS and OpenAT technologies. The GSM modem Sl6087 is core of the board, that manage GSM module Xm0110 by Open AT commands.
Additionally to Sl6087 and Xm0110 the Sim card holder, RF, USB connectors and power supply are mounted on board. The are two RF SMA connectors. One for GSM and one for GPS antennas. The PIC24FJ64 will give possibility to build complete applications based on the DK-SL6087-XM0110 board and use it as finalized application.
