SADF Runtime Engine (SADF Engine) is a firmware or software component that must be executed on the target platform. SADF Engine is responsible for the memory management and memory protection. The SADF Engine manages the resources of the DSP application, connects different types of embedded firmware (RTOSs, libraries, protocol stacks, etc), provides to the user application runtime edit functionality. SADF Engine is supplied to the customer as a precompiled object, that will be linked by the user to the application or as a complete application that can directly be executed on the target platform.
